Chennai: To mark its Golden Jubilee, CVRDE (a unit of DRDO) organized an exclusive exhibition for college students on January 22, 2025, at its Avadi facility.

The event showcased CVRDE's flagship products and cutting-edge defense R&D technologies.

Highlights included technical lectures by senior scientists, video screenings on DRDO innovations, displays of scale models, components, and systems, and a live demonstration of the Arjun main battle tank.

The inaugural session was graced by J. Rajesh Kumar, Director of CVRDE, and T. Panneer Selvam, Additional Director. The event saw participation from 920 students representing 16 institutions.

The exhibition was coordinated by K. Anbazhagan, Regional PRO (DRDO), and R. P. Chandrasekhar, Public Relations Officer of CVRDE, ensuring its success as an inspiring educational experience for future technologists.
