Professor Sidhanandamirtha Chaitanya, Director of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, emphasized the importance of future-ready courses such as IT, Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, and Data Science.

He highlighted that Indian engineers are highly valued globally, with 4,000 of the 7,000 engineers at a major American electronics company being of Indian origin. For students who do not aspire to become doctors or traditional engineers, fields like AI, cybersecurity, neuro IT, and 7G communication offer immense job security and opportunities.

Professor Chaitanya distinguished between two types of education—education for survival and education for life. While thousands of institutions focus on the former, only a select few impart knowledge that shapes a lifelong career and character. He urged students to choose colleges that prioritize holistic education, ethics, and personal growth.

He stressed that academic excellence alone is not enough; uniqueness, dedication, and integrity are essential for success.
