Puducherry: The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) on Saturday dismissed media reports suggesting that it was planning to introduce a dual degree programme integrating MBBS and BAMS.

In a statement, the Institute clarified that there was no proposal under consideration to launch such a programme.

JIPMER urged the media and the public to rely only on its official communications for authentic and accurate information.
