New Delhi: The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) on Tuesday launched the AI Impact Startup Book at the India AI Impact Summit 2026, presenting a consolidated repository of artificial intelligence solutions being developed across India.

Described as a first-of-its-kind compendium, the publication captures the scale and diversity of India's AI and deep-tech startup ecosystem, highlighting trends across sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, education and emerging areas including foundation models, databases and edge AI.

Shri Abhishek Singh, Additional Secretary, MeitY, Director General of National Informatics Centre and CEO of IndiaAI, said the true success of AI lies in improving access to services and delivering tangible benefits to citizens. He stressed the need to move from pilot projects to large-scale adoption, adding that scaling even 10 out of 100 listed solutions in the next 12-18 months would be a significant step towards making India the “use-case capital”.

The report also noted rising global footprints of Indian startups, indigenous AI infrastructure development and growing government partnerships to enable population-scale deployment of AI solutions.
