Tirunelveli: The Manonmaniam Sundaranar Varsity signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Oracle University for Workforce Development Program (WDP)
The University registrar (in-charge) K.A. Manikumar signed the pact with the Oracle University in the presence of the Vice-Chancellor, R T Subapathy Mohan.
According to the understanding, both the institution will jointly undertake Oracle certification programme (Oracle Certified Professional-OCP). This agreement enables MSU students to have an access to Oracle authorised training at a very nominal cost.
The training program exposes the university students to Oracle University courseware and CDs.The pact offers MSU students benefits in employment opportunities in the IT industries.
The Workforce Development Program extends the opportunity to MS University to be a part of the Global Education Partner Network of Oracle University.
Oracle University has trained MSU lecturers to offer this programme to the students of MSU.
