Chennai: The National Institute of Technology Puducherry marked the 75th Republic Day with fervor on its campus premises. Dr. Usha Natesan, Director (In-Charge), unfurled the National flag and received a guard of honor from the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and SIS Security Services.In her address, the Director emphasized the significance of the sovereign republic and celebrated the achievements of Indians with pride, underlining the importance of Republic Day and its commemoration.The celebration featured cultural events organized by the students. Dr. S. Sundaravarathan, Registrar (NIT Puducherry), Dr. Narendran Rajagopalan, Dean (Student Welfare), faculty, staff, and students actively participated in the event. The event concluded with the distribution of sweets to mark the occasion.
