Puducherry: The online application process for admissions to non-NEET undergraduate and professional courses through the Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) commenced on Sunday at 3 PM.

The deadline for submission of applications is May 31.

As per the information released by the Puducherry government, admissions to government and private colleges offering non-NEET courses for the academic year 2025-26 will be facilitated through the CENTAC portal - www.centacpuducherry.in.

Chief Minister N. Rangasamy, in a press note, announced that applications are being invited for various non-NEET undergraduate professional courses including B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Sc (Agriculture and Horticulture), B.V.Sc, B.Sc (Nursing), Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics (BPO), and other paramedical diploma programs.

Additionally, candidates can apply for undergraduate courses in arts, science, and commerce streams such as B.A, B.Sc, B.Com, B.C.A, and B.B.A offered by six government and government-aided society-run colleges. Applications are also open for fine arts programs including B.P.A and P.V.A through Bharathiar Palkalaikoodam.

CENTAC has also made provisions for students from other states under the state quota. NRIs, NRI-sponsored candidates, and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) can apply for self-financed seats in non-NEET professional courses.

According to official data, a total of 6,257 seats are available in non-NEET professional courses, and 4,320 seats are available in arts, science, and commerce streams, amounting to 10,577 seats overall.

CENTAC officials added that applications for NEET-based medical and dental courses will open following the announcement of NEET 2025 results.
