New Delhi: OPPO India on Friday expanded its Find X9 Series with the launch of a new Velvet Red colour variant for the Find X9, introduced just 10 days after the smartphone made its India debut on November 18.

The company said the series has registered over three times higher sales than the previous Find generation in its first week.

The Velvet Red edition, available exclusively in a 12GB + 256GB configuration, is priced at ₹74,999 and will go on sale from December 8 across the OPPO e-store, Flipkart and authorised retail outlets. With bank offers, the effective price drops to ₹67,499, along with additional exchange benefits.

OPPO said the new colour option was introduced following strong consumer demand for more expressive finishes. The variant joins Titanium Grey and Space Black and carries the same hardware, including a 7025mAh silicon-carbon battery, 80W SUPERVOOC charging, the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, a 1.15 mm ultra-slim bezel and Hasselblad co-engineered imaging powered by OPPO's LUMO Image Engine. The device runs ColorOS 16 with enhanced AI features.

“The response to the Find X9 Series has been phenomenal. Velvet Red adds a bold and recognisable option to the lineup,” said Peter Dohyung Lee, Head of Product Strategy, OPPO.

Customers can also avail no-cost EMI for up to 24 months, exchange bonuses, a Black Gold Gift Box, and complimentary Google Gemini Pro access.
