Chennai: The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) on Friday announced the postponement of the Tamil Nadu Rural Talent Search Examination scheduled for November 29, citing heavy rains triggered by Cyclone over the Bay of Bengal.
The examination, conducted under the Tamil Nadu Rural Students Talent Search Scheme (TRUSTS), will now be held on December 6 (Saturday), the Directorate said in an official statement.
The decision has been taken in the interest of students, the notification added.
