Chennai: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) on Friday said 829 candidates have been selected to fill shortfall vacancies reserved for Adi Dravidian and Scheduled Tribe communities between January 2024 and October 2025, as part of efforts to strengthen social justice in government services.
In an official release, TNPSC said recruitment notifications have also been issued and examinations are underway to fill an additional 951 shortfall vacancies identified for 2025.
The Commission said the ongoing measures are aimed at ensuring adequate representation for the communities in accordance with reservation norms.
