Puducherry: Registration for a NEET mock examination organised by Dinamalar newspaper in association with Spectra began on April 14.

The mock exam, scheduled for April 20, is aimed at helping students in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry who had applied for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) to overcome exam-related anxiety and gain confidence.

The actual NEET exam for admission to courses such as MBBS and BDS is scheduled across the country on May 4, with around 23 lakh candidates expected to appear.

Modelled closely on the real NEET exam, the mock test is designed to provide aspirants with a realistic test environment. Only students who registered were allowed to take part.

Details regarding registration and participation were published in Dinamalar's April 14 edition, the organisers said.
