Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore, has received 30,333 applications for undergraduate admissions for the academic year 2025-26, officials said on Tuesday.

Admissions are being conducted for 14 undergraduate agricultural science programmes and three diploma courses offered by the university, its constituent government and private colleges, and the government-aided Annamalai University.

According to TNAU, a total of 6,921 seats are available this year for undergraduate courses, including 2,516 seats in government colleges and 4,405 in private institutions.

The application process, which began on May 9, closed on Monday. Of the total applications received, 28,536 are for undergraduate degree courses alone, the university said.

The university has commenced certificate verification for reservation categories, including for sportspersons. The rank list will be published on June 24 or 25 on the official TNAU website, after which counselling dates will be announced, officials added.
