Chennai: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) will conduct certificate verification and counselling on July 17 for Combined Technical Services Examination (non-interview posts).

The verification will take place at the TNPSC headquarters near Broadway Bus Stand and Fort Railway Station in Chennai.

Call letters with date, time, and venue details are now available for download on the official website, www.tnpsc.gov.in. The Commission emphasized that no hard copy call letters will be sent by post; instead, candidates will be informed via SMS and email.

The list of provisionally shortlisted candidates—based on merit and reservation norms—has been uploaded to the TNPSC website. Candidates have been selected against Notification No. 09/2024, originally issued on July 26, 2024, and updated subsequently. The marks and rankings were published online on February 20, 2025.

Positions for which certificate verification will be held include Assistant Engineer (Civil and Electrical), Architectural Assistant, Planning Assistant, Junior Manager (Finance and Accounts), Foreman, Translator, Executive Officer, Deputy Manager (Quality Control), Assistant Zoological Officer, Regional Statistical Officer, and Assistant Director (Factory Safety and Health), among others.

TNPSC cautioned that attending the certificate verification does not guarantee final selection, which will depend on eligibility, ranking, and vacancy availability.

No second chance will be given to candidates who fail to appear for the process, said the Commission.
