Chennai: Graduates have been invited to apply for internship opportunities at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Applications can be submitted through the official website https://careers.unesco.org until December 31.

Applicants must be at least 20 years old and should have completed a postgraduate degree, doctorate, or equivalent qualification. Proficiency in written and spoken English or French is mandatory, along with computer literacy and teamwork skills.

Selected candidates will undergo training for a period ranging from one to six months, gaining hands-on experience in UNESCO's directives, programmes, and technical areas.

UNESCO clarified that the internship is unpaid, and participants will have to cover their own travel and living expenses. The organization also stated that completion of the internship does not guarantee employment with UNESCO.
