Chennai: VIT University has commenced the registration process for its B.Tech entrance examination for the academic year 2026.

The entrance exam, known as VITEEE 2026, will be conducted in a single phase from April 28 to May 3, 2026, across 134 test centres in India and nine centres abroad, the university announced.

VIT offers B.Tech programmes at its Vellore, Chennai, Amaravati, and Bhopal campuses. Eligible candidates can register and apply for the examination through the official website www.viteee.vit.ac.in.

According to VIT, applicants can select their preferred examination centre based on either their place of study or hometown for convenience.

The university stated that the entrance test aims to identify and admit meritorious students to its engineering programmes, which are known for their multidisciplinary approach and industry-oriented curriculum.
