New Delhi: The zonal rounds of the Indian Navy's prestigious national quiz competition, THINQ-25, concluded on October 13 and 14, with 16 school teams from across the country qualifying for the semi-finals.

The competition, themed “MAHASAGAR”, witnessed intense participation from top schools across the four zones — North, South, East, and West. The semi-finals will be held at the Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, on November 4, followed by the Grand Finale on November 5.

From each zone, four teams advanced to the next stage.

North Zone: Dr Virendra Swarup Education Centre (Kanpur), Dewan Public School (Meerut), Spring Dale Senior School (Amritsar), and KL International School (Meerut).

East Zone: PM Shri JNV (Samastipur), Shiksha Niketan School (East Singhbhum), DAV Public School (Bhubaneswar), and Santragachi Kedarnath Institution (Howrah).

South Zone: Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan Senior Secondary School (Chennai), Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School (Chennai), Sainik School (Kodagu), and Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (Kannur).

West Zone: Cambridge Court High School, Jayshree Periwal High School, St. Anthony's Senior Secondary School, and Subodh Public School (all from Rajasthan).

Eight of these 16 teams will qualify for the Grand Finale. The Navy said the competition provides a platform for intellectual exchange and offers students a unique opportunity to experience the state-of-the-art training facilities at INA, Ezhimala.
