Professor Dr. Krishnaraj Ramaswamy, a distinguished academic, embarked on his journey in Ooty the Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu, India. He also noted the academic record, having completed his postdoctoral studies in Environmental Engineering and Water Resource Management at IIT Madras.
Furthermore, he earned recognition through the prestigious UGCDSK Kothari Fellowship. Dr. Ramaswamy pursued additional postdoctoral research at the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore, focusing on Sustainable Technologies.
His academic prowess is underscored by accolades such as the Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Human Resource Development Government of India-inspired fellowship and a gold medal in Engineering Design from Anna University. Beyond academic excellence, Dr. Krishnaraj Ramaswamy's commitment to societal welfare is evident. His passion for serving the underprivileged led him to adopt a tribal village in the Nilgiris, Tamilnadu India, where he super -headed several welfare initiatives.
This dedication garnered him the National Social Service Award from Anna University Chennai. Subsequently, Dr. Ramaswamy extended his philanthropic endeavors to Ethiopia, a nation grappling with socio -economic challenges.
In the region of Dambi Dollo, characterized by security issues and underdevelopment, he focused and founded the Not You But Me Association. Under his leadership, the association implemented transformative projects focused on rural green revolution, urban technological advancement, preventive health care, women empowerment and child education more than 1000 families and students and local community got benefited out of this Innovative direct public service to the community.
Dr. KRISHNARAJ Ramaswamy's impact transcends humanitarian efforts. He is a trail -brazier in research and technology development in Ethiopia. With over 150 published research articles In quality sci and scopus journals , he has significantly contributed to agricultural innovation, skill development and educational reform.
Through collaboration with Ethiopian universities and Indian educational institutions, he established joint PhD programs, semester exchange, and facilitated numerous scholarships. Also he was an instrument in establishing centre for Excellence in incubation Indigenous Knowledge Innovative Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship in public universities of Ethiopia and also he is serving as Director for the same in dambi Dollo University. His initiatives bridged the gap between academia and industry, fostering technological advancement and economic growth.
Moreover, Dr. Krishnarah Ramaswamy's cultural exchange initiatives have strengthened ties between Ethiopia and India. By highlighting linguistical and cultural similarities and facilitating collaboration in the arts and film industries, he has fostered mutual understanding and appreciation..In connection to this the Government of Ethiopia, Ministry of Innovation and Technology recognized him as Principal scientific advisor for research and Technology in Ministry of Innovation and Technology Ethiopia.
Dr.Krish: His involvement in education, social, culture relationship between both the countries set an example on its patriotism of both the countries.He also paived the way to bring the language similarities between oromiya and tamil in various conferences and media which gave a eye opening.....His continuous dedication in the uplifting of various communities in Ethiopia is highly honoured and appreciated ....His humanitarian services to mentally retarded people is admired and also he have initiated multi vegetables cultivation and created awareness to the local community which have reduced malnutrition significantly.....
