Crackdown on Medical Education Centres

chennai: during the 2024-2025 online counseling for undergraduate and postgraduate medical courses, several documents submitted under the nri quota were found to be forged.acting on a complaint from the directorate of medical education and research, the central crime branch police carried out raids on multiple educational counseling centers in chennai yesterday.the targeted centers included sri sai education academy in pallavaram, meta neet in porur, sri sai career next academy in nungambakkam and saligram, zion career solutions in velachery, life link education counseling centre in anna nagar, steady india education counseling centre in ashok nagar, and madha medical education in kundrathur.during the operation, 105 documents and 19 seals were confiscated. investigations are ongoing to uncover further details.
