NEET-PG results announced
chennai: neet- pg results were declared on august 22 that was held earlier this month in a record breaking just two weeks time post exam.the neet-pg conducted by the national board of examinations in medical sciences (nbems), is the gateway for admissions to md, ms, and pg diploma courses in government and private medical colleges, as well as central institutions across india. over 2.3 lakh candidates nationwide appeared for this exam, including more than 25,000 from tamil nadu alone.inan effort to curb irregularities, the exam was conducted in two sessions on august 11. following the swift evaluation process, candidates can now access their results on the official website, www.natboard.edu.in.this year's result declaration took place within two weeks, a notable improvement from the 17-day timeline of the previous year. the qualifying marks have been set at 50% for general category candidates, 45% for general category candidates with pwd, and 40% for scheduled castes and persons with disabilities.incontrast to previous years, where results were based on merit for various categories, this year's eligibility criteria were determined proportionally. the directorate general of health services has announced that the admission process for state and all-india seats will commence in the coming days.
