Registrations open for Yuva Sangam (Phase V)

new delhi: the ministry of education has launched online registrations for phase v of yuva sangam under the ek bharat shreshtha bharat (ebsb) initiative. interested youth, aged 18-30, can register on the yuva sangam portal until 21st october 2024. the initiative promotes cultural exchange between states and union territories, fostering unity and national pride.since its launch in 2023, yuva sangam has facilitated over 4,790 youths across india in 114 tours. this phase includes participation from 20 eminent institutions, with student delegations visiting paired states/uts, such as maharashtra with odisha and jammu & kashmir with tamil nadu.the program offers an immersive experience, covering five key areas: tourism, traditions, development, people-to-people connect, and technology. participants will explore various aspects of the paired state/ut over 5-7 days.yuva sangam aligns with the national education policy (nep) 2020, encouraging experiential learning and cultural appreciation. the initiative is a collaboration between multiple ministries and departments, including culture, tourism, and youth affairs. interested participants can find more details on the official portal.detailed information is available at: https://ebsb.aicte-india.org/
