chennai: the tamil nadu institute of archaeology and museology has invited applications for its postgraduate diploma programmes across four disciplines, offering students opportunities in archaeology, epigraphy, heritage management, and manuscript studies.the following diploma programmes are being offered:postgraduate diploma in archaeology (pgda)duration: 2 yearsmedium: tamil and englisheligibility: any postgraduate degreepostgraduate diploma in epigraphy (pgde)duration: 2 yearsmedium: tamil and englisheligibility: postgraduate degree in tamil, indian history, ancient history and archaeology, or history and archaeologypostgraduate diploma in heritage management and museology (pgdhmm)duration: 2 yearsmedium: tamil and englisheligibility: postgraduate degree in anthropology, sociology, chemistry, physics, biology, geology or a bachelor's degree in civil engineeringpostgraduate diploma in manuscriptology and siddha medicine sources (pgdmss)duration: 1 yearmedium: tamileligibility: postgraduate degree in tamilscholarship: a monthly stipend of ₹8,000 will be provided to all enrolled studentsapplications can be submitted online, via email, or in person. the completed application form, along with copies of academic and community certificates, must be sent to the principal secretary and commissioner, department of archaeology, tamil development complex, tamil salai, egmore, chennai - 600008.admission to all courses will be through a special entrance examination.the last date to submit applications is july 14.further details are available at www.tnarch.gov.in.
