Govt invites entries for three Global AI Impact Challenges under India-AI Impact Summit 2026

new delhi: the government of india has invited applications for three flagship global impact challenges — ai for all, ai by her, and yuvai — under the upcoming india-ai impact summit 2026, offering total prizes worth ₹5.85 crore. applications are open till october 31, 2025, on impact.indiaai.gov.in.announced by union minister for electronics and information technology ashwini vaishnaw in september, the challenges aim to accelerate inclusive, responsible, and scalable ai innovation with high potential for social and economic impact. selected projects will receive mentorship, investor access, and a platform to showcase their solutions globally.the ai for all challenge seeks ai-driven innovations addressing national and global priorities across sectors such as agriculture, climate, education, financial inclusion, healthcare, and urban mobility, with awards of up to ₹2.5 crore for top winners.the ai by her challenge, led by niti aayog's women entrepreneurship platform, focuses on women-led ai innovations creating tangible social impact, offering similar awards and mentorship opportunities.the yuvai global youth challenge targets innovators aged 13-21 years, encouraging them to develop ai solutions for public good, with total prizes worth ₹85 lakh.finalists across all three categories will participate in virtual bootcamps and receive travel support to attend the india-ai impact summit 2026, to be held in new delhi from february 19 to 20, 2026.
