Kerala introduces QR code-based digital security system for Higher Secondary exams
thiruvananthapuram: kerala infrastructure and technology for education (kite) has introduced a qr code-based mobile application to strengthen security and transparency in the conduct of higher secondary examinations in kerala, officials said.the 'kite-qtrack' application enables real-time tracking of the examination process, from opening question paper packets at exam centres to dispatching answer scripts to valuation camps. the system will be implemented for the higher secondary examinations beginning march 5.kite ceo k anvar sadath said the initiative is part of efforts to automate the entire examination system, including post-exam services such as certificate distribution, revaluation and scrutiny applications through a digital platform.officials said the app will alert authorities in case of errors, such as scanning incorrect question paper packets, and allow instant reporting of malpractices or technical issues.training sessions for examination officials are being conducted at the district level to ensure smooth implementation of the new digital monitoring system.
