Over 18000 forms sold on 3rd day of DU admissions
new delhi: the delhi university, which started its admission process for undergraduate courses three days back, continued to witness a huge rush of students with over 18,000 of them purchasing the forms. the university, one of the most popular institutes in the country, has sold nearly 70,000 forms so far. nearly 50,000 admission forms were sold in the last two days. '18,700 forms were sold today from all 16 centres while 4,264 filled up forms have been submitted,' deputy dean of student's welfare, gurpreet singh tuteja, said. long queues of students and parents were seen at all the centres where admission forms for nearly 49,000 seats in 61 colleges are available. as many as 71 physically challenged students, for whom the university has introduced a slew of measures, have applied so far, tuteja said
