TN Class 12 board exams conclude
chennai: the class 12 public examinations, which began on march 2, concluded on thursday, with students celebrating the end of their school life across tamil nadu.students were seen coming out of examination centres and celebrating with friends by taking group selfies, scribbling on each other's shirts, and tossing papers in the air to mark the beginning of their holidays.on the final day, examinations were held for 11 subjects including computer science, computer applications, communicative english, biochemistry, home science, and statistics.evaluation of answer sheets is expected to commence from april 8, officials said.teachers noted that while the business studies paper for the commerce stream was slightly difficult, the overall pass percentage this year is likely to increase.inthe science stream, question papers for physics, biology, and computer science were relatively easy, while chemistry and mathematics were considered difficult.“if grace marks are awarded for certain questions in chemistry, the cut-off may increase. however, the number of centum scorers in mathematics could decline, which may result in a lower engineering cut-off this year,” teachers said.students expressed mixed reactions to the examinations.some students said the exams were generally easy and expressed confidence of scoring good marks, while also feeling emotional about the end of school life and excited about starting college.others noted that not all papers were easy, particularly in the commerce stream, while a few said that although some exams were difficult, many were manageable and there were no out-of-syllabus questions.
