TNPSC asks Group II/IIA candidates to update subject details for Livestock Inspector post

chennai: the tamil nadu public service commission (tnpsc) has directed candidates who applied for the combined civil services examination-ii (group ii/iia services) to update specific subject details relating to the post of livestock inspector grade-ii.the commission had invited applications through notification no. 11/2025 dated july 15, 2025, and addendum 11a/2025 dated nov 18, 2025. the preliminary examination was held on september 28, 2025, in omr mode.tnpsc has asked applicants to indicate “yes/no” in the online application column on whether they studied biology, botany or zoology as one of the subjects in their higher secondary course, which is required for the livestock inspector post.the one-time registration (otr) portal has been reopened from november 22 to 25, 2025, up to 11.59 pm for candidates to submit the required information. although sms alerts were sent, some messages remained undelivered, following which the commission also issued email notifications.candidates can update their details on the tnpsc website until 11.59 pm on november 25, the controller of examinations a. shanmuga sundaram said.
