TNPSC counselling for Road Inspector posts from August 4

chennai: the tamil nadu public service commission (tnpsc) will conduct certificate verification and counselling for the post of road inspector in the rural development and panchayat raj department from august 4 to 7, 2025, at its office in chennai.the list of provisionally shortlisted candidates has been published on the commission's website based on marks obtained in the written examination, overall rank, reservation norms, and available vacancies. candidates can download their call memorandum, which includes date, time, and venue details, from www.tnpsc.gov.in.tnpsc clarified that candidates will be informed only through sms and email, and no separate intimation will be sent by post. those who fail to attend the certificate verification and counselling on the specified date will not be given a second opportunity.the final selection will be based on written exam scores, overall ranking, reservation criteria, information submitted in the application, and vacancy availability. tnpsc underscored that being called for verification does not guarantee appointment.the written examination for these posts, advertised under notification no. 02/2023 dated january 13, 2023, was part of the tamil nadu rural development engineering subordinate services recruitment process. marks and rank details were made available on november 27, 2023.
