TRB issues notification to fill 1,996 teaching posts in Tamil Nadu

chennai: the tamil nadu teacher recruitment board (trb) on wednesday issued a fresh notification to recruit teachers for various subjects across the state, announcing a total of 1,996 vacancies.according to the notification, eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official trb website (https://www.trb.tn.gov.in) from july 10. the last date for submission is august 12 before 5 pm, the board said.the subject-wise breakup of vacancies is as follows: tamil - 216, english - 197, mathematics - 232, physics - 233, chemistry - 217, biology - 171, history - 68, economics - 198, commerce - 131, computer science - 57, political science - 14, indian culture - 15, secondary grade physics - 169, secondary grade mathematics - 102, and physical education - 1.further details regarding eligibility criteria, syllabus, and selection procedure are available on the trb website, the notification added.
