UP goes strict against exorbitant fees in B Ed colleges

lucknow: the uttar pradesh government directed all universities and officers of higher education department to ensure disciplinary action against colleges charging more than the prescribed fees from b ed students. 'the complaints of students and their guardians regarding colleges running b ed classes should be taken up as affidavits and sent to universities concerned, which had been directed to take stern action in such cases,' secretary,igher education kamram rizvi said. b ed colleges should charge only rs 27,536 from students and action should be taken against those charging more, he said.
