History of the Temple: Leicester Sri Murugan Temple is a charitable organisation formed to aid the devoted piotees of Leicester Tamil Community. The humble trustees continue to work hard in constructing a Temple for the Tamil God Lord Muruga and aid the community they live in. There is a temple priest and daily poojas are being conducted three times a day. Regular poojas are also conducted in this temple.
