The temple is planned to be built as a Shiva Sambarthaya temple and the main temple will be Palani Dhandayudhapani.Initially, a rented space was taken in the church premises and the festival idol was placed and pujas and worship were held.Later, with the encouragement and loan of Tamil Nadu businessman Sam Kumar, they bought their own place - a shelter and a prayer room are established there and worship is being held properly.The US allows freedom of speech and religion in law. The group is working hard to get permission as per the law and build a temple.Earlier, Warrier would captivate even the youth with his speeches. He would encourage them by saying, 'May Murugan always be with you!'All that impressed them and sparked the desire to build a Murugan temple, says Venkatesan Palanivelan, Warrier's relative and the chairman of the founding committee.The group is trying in various ways to raise funds to build this temple. Recently, they invited Karthik Devarajan's band from India to perform.The group is happy that it has passed many tests and succeeded with the grace of Murugan.Samkumar has already donated nine crore rupees as a side donation for the construction of this temple.During the event, he announced that if each devotee gave $1008, he would give the same amount, and he collected about forty lakh rupees there.Like him, Kalvimani, Sam Kannappan, Dr. Chinna Nadesan and others are advisors and supporters.Pooja and worship are also conducted in Tamil in this temple. Arrangements are made for devotees to conduct worship in their preferred languages.
