With a growing global interest in alternative medicine, courses in Indian medicine and homeopathy are increasingly sought after.
Opportunities for international careers are expanding for graduates of these programs.

Courses Offered:
BAMS: Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery
B.S.M.S.: Bachelor of Pathology and Surgery
B.H.M.S.: Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery
B.U.M.S.: Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery

Duration: 5.5 years

Eligibility: Applicants must be native to Tamil Nadu. Out-of-state students who have completed their schooling (6th to 12th grade) in Tamil Nadu can apply only under the general category.
Academic Requirements: Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Botany, and Zoology in 12th General Examination.

Minimum Marks: At least 50% in all subjects. SC/SCA/ST/MBC/BC/BCM categories require a minimum of 40%.

Admission Process:Entrance Exam: Admission is based on Junior NEET-2024 marks, conducted by the National Examination Agency (NTA).
Marks: A minimum of 50% is required. For reserved categories, 40% is sufficient.
Counseling: Conducted directly by the respective institutions.

Age Limit: Applicants must be at least 17 years old as of 31 December, 2024. No upper age limit is specified.
Seats Available: Government quota seats in Private and Govt colleges across the state of Tamil Nadu; All India Quota Seats, and Management Quota Seats.
