Indian PhD students now have the chance to undertake short-term research courses at the National Institute of Materials Science (NIMS), Japan.

This opportunity is available under the International Cooperative Graduate Program (ICGP), offering research stays of 6 to 12 months.

Eligibility: Full-time PhD students from selected Indian universities.

Benefits: Selected students receive a monthly stipend of 1,20,000 yen to cover living expenses, and no tuition fee is charged by NIMS.
