Chennai: Fiserv, a global leader in financial services technology, has partnered with Yes We Too Can!!! (YWTC) Charitable Trust to launch 'Lights Camera Inclusion,' a capacity-building program for people with locomotor disabilities.

Collaborating with the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) and United Way Mumbai, this year-long initiative trained over 120 individuals in skills like screenplay writing, podcasting, smartphone filmmaking, acting, and dubbing.

The program resulted in the creation of two short films, 'Stride - Breaking Barriers. Embracing Identity' and 'When Opportunity Knocks on the Recruiter's Doors,' showcasing the participants' talents and promoting inclusion.

Gopakumar Subramanian, Senior Vice President at Fiserv, emphasized the company's commitment to equity and inclusion, aiming to build self-reliance and employable skills for persons with disabilities.

The initiative seeks to empower individuals with disabilities, enhancing their employability in the film industry and challenging societal perceptions.

Madhavi Latha Prathigudupu, President of YWTC, praised the participants' achievements and thanked Fiserv, FTII, and United Way Mumbai for their support.
