Namakkal: The rank list for admissions to undergraduate veterinary science courses in colleges functioning under the ambit of Tamil Nadu University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (TANUVAS) will be published at the end of this month, said the University Vice-Chancellor Selvakumar.

Tamil Nadu Veterinary Science University Vice-Chancellor Selvakumar attended the College and Hostel Day celebration at Namakkal Veterinary College and Research Station. During the event, he unveiled the festival flower and awarded medals and certificates to the top-performing students.

Addressing the press, Vice-Chancellor Selvakumar shared, " A total of 14,500 applications were received for the undergraduate veterinary science degree courses, which have 660 available seats. Additionally, 100 seats are available for B.Tech programs in Poultry Technology and Dairy Technology. The university received 3,000 applications online for the B.Tech Poultry Technology program. Admissions will be based on the candidates' Plus 2 marks. Counseling for the admission process is scheduled to be conducted online in August".
