Chennai: A total of 284 students graduated at the 14th convocation ceremony of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), held at its Thiruvanmiyur campus on Rajiv Gandhi Road.

Delivering the convocation address, Khadi Secretary Amudhavally, the chief guest of the event, congratulated the graduating students and urged them to embrace technology and innovation as key drivers of the future.

“This degree is the outcome of your four years of hard work. The future belongs to technology and innovation — you must take the lead in shaping it. Global trade is waiting for you, and your mindset should always remain positive,” she said.

During the ceremony, degrees were conferred on the graduates, including several award-winning students who excelled in various fields. Faculty members, parents, and students attended the event, which celebrated creativity, craftsmanship, and entrepreneurship in fashion and design.
