New Delhi: Smartphone maker OPPO on Monday announced that its upcoming flagship Find X9 series will be powered by MediaTek's new Dimensity 9500 chipset, which promises significant gains in performance and power efficiency.

The chipset, built on MediaTek's third-generation “All-Big-Core” CPU architecture, features one 4.21 GHz ultra-core, three premium cores and four performance cores. According to the company, it offers up to 32 per cent higher single-core and 17 per cent higher multi-core performance compared to the previous generation, while peak power consumption has been reduced by up to 55 per cent.

With the Arm G1-Ultra GPU, the Dimensity 9500 delivers up to 33 per cent higher graphics performance and 42 per cent better power efficiency, enabling console-grade ray tracing. OPPO said the Find X9 series would be equipped with a customised cooling system to ensure stable high-frame-rate gameplay under demanding conditions.

The device will also feature OPPO's Trinity Engine, which introduces Android's first Unified Computing Power Model. The company said the technology provides over 90 per cent accuracy in predicting power consumption and enhances energy optimisation across usage scenarios such as gaming, imaging and daily tasks.

The global launch event for the Find X9 series will be announced shortly.
