Chennai: Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare and Rural Development Shivraj Singh Chouhan will visit the ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) in Vellore on October 25, 2025, as part of the Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan (VKSA) — a nationwide initiative celebrating India's agricultural progress.

The visit highlights the government's commitment to building a unified and farmer-centric agricultural ecosystem under the vision of “One Agriculture - One Country - One Team.”

During his visit, the Minister will interact with progressive farmers, women self-help groups, rural youth, and agri-entrepreneurs. He will review success stories from the region and launch new initiatives promoting natural farming, pulses and oilseeds cultivation, livestock integration, and digital agriculture.

The programme at KVK Vellore will feature an exhibition of innovative technologies and value-added products, as well as discussions on PM Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana, natural farming, climate resilience, skilling, and integrated farming systems.

The event aims to strengthen coordination between central and state efforts to make Indian agriculture more productive, sustainable, and resilient, reaffirming the national resolve to transform the farm sector through innovation and inclusivity.
