12th Annual Get-together of the School Children who are assisted by AEDU-UK programme took placed at St.Anthony’s School at Muthur on 11-02-2024
AEDU-UK team - Dr..Amirthalingam Baheerathanan, Easan Somasundram & their team consist of Mavai So Thankarajah from Germany & Srilanka Cordinator Varathan visited Trincomalee along with Trincomalee Coordinator Dr.Gunalan & Antony Raveendran, met the School Children about 100  and their Parents.who are assisted by this Programme. Each students will get Rs.3,000/=.
Trincomalee Coordinator Dr.Gunalan welcomed all of them & explained to the Beneficiaries about how to use this assistance to improve their studies.
Srilanka Cordinator Varathan. & Dr.A.Baheerathan explained the Students & Parents about the importance of Education and requested them to concentrate in their studies.
School bags, which were donated by Mavai So Thankarajah were handed over to all children.
Most of these children are from the rural & low-income group families, we made them to understand that only EDUCATION can uplift from their present situation,
We noticed there are much improvement in their studies & give us a HOPE that what we spent is not wasted. We are very confidence that, our initial input will definitely will show best results in future.,
AEDU-UK is working in 11 Districts, including North, East, Monaragala & Nuwareliya.
