IIT Madras E-Cell to Host 10th Edition of E-Summit from Feb 28 to March 2

chennai: the entrepreneurship cell (e-cell) of iit madras is set to host the 10th edition of its flagship event, e-summit 2025, from february 28 to march 2. marking a decade of dynamism, the event will bring together over 1,000 founders, 50+ investors, and 15,000+ students from 400+ colleges across india.announcing the event at a press conference, iit madras director prof. v. kamakoti emphasized the role of entrepreneurship in india's self-reliance in technology. he stated, “bharat must be a product and startup nation. this summit will foster innovative ideas that could become successful startups.”key highlights include 'pitchfest,' a live fundraising event, and 'biz-bazaar,' a student marketplace. the event will also feature startup-expo, bootcamp accelerator program, i-summit for incubator connections, and elevate, a pan-india fundraising initiative.e-cell advisor prof. richa agrawal commended the students' efforts, stating, “this summit reflects a decade of dedication to promoting entrepreneurship.”additionally, social initiatives like 'in-verse' for creative arts and 'education-21' for school students aim to expand entrepreneurial awareness.
