TNPSC Phase III Certificate Verification for Group-II-A Services

chennai: the tamil nadu public service commission (tnpsc) has announced the iii phase of physical certificate verification and counselling for candidates of the combined civil services examination-ii (group-iia services) (non-interview posts). scheduled for august 14, 2024, the verification will take place at the tnpsc office in chennai, verifying the authenticity of candidates' claims regarding age, educational qualifications, and other details provided in their online applications.candidates shortlisted for the iii phase of physical certificate verification and counselling were selected based on their educational qualifications, merit, overall rank, the rule of reservation of appointments, and the number of vacancies. the list of these candidates has been made available on the commission's official website.candidates are required to bring all original certificates that support the claims made in their online applications. they are also instructed to download the memorandum of admission for the physical certificate verification and counselling from the tnpsc website. the commission will inform candidates of the details via sms and email only, with no postal communication provided.the allotment of posts is contingent upon the availability of vacancies within the respective reservation categories and is subject to the candidates' eligibility. failure to appear for the verification and counselling on the assigned date and time will result in the loss of opportunity for those candidates.the tnpsc, in its notification no.03/2022 dated february 23, 2022, invited applications for direct recruitment to posts included in the combined civil services examination-ii (group-iia services). the main written examination was conducted on february 25, 2023, and the results, including the mark and rank positions of the candidates, were published on the commission's website on april 8, 2024, an official release said.
