FTII chief Gajendra Chauhan meets Naidu, Rathore

new delhi: ftii chairperson gajendra chauhan and senior functionaries of the premier film school met information and broadcasting minister m venkaiah naidu and informed him of the activities of the institute. sources said that this was chauhan's first meeting with naidu, after he took charge of the i&b ministry. during the meeting various issues related to functioning of ftii were discussed. it is learnt that chauhan also had a detailed discussion with minister of state rajyavardhan rathore over various issues. on june 12, last year, ftii students had went on a strike against gajendra's appointment as its chairman, however, on october 28 they withdrew their 139-day-old strike and vowed to continue "peaceful" protests against him.
