kolkata: smile foundation is an organisation that works to improve the lives of disadvantaged children starting with universal education in its mission education programme.  the foundation has paired up with a number of schools in west bengal to achieve its aims. the institutes include schools of the world, salt lake, kolkata.  smile foundation has helps school of world in the monitoring, documentation matters and gives financial assistance for teacher's salary and meeting administration costs. the foundation also organizes health camps in collaboration with some corporate houses for the underprivileged children and is also supporting scholarships of rs 1500 each for three meritorious underprivileged students at the schools of the world (kolkata).    other organisations it helps include asha shramik project – child labour prevention programme, sankhasubhara welfare society and digambarpur angikar, south 24 pragana.
