MoU between Pondy university and Institute of Bioinformatics

puducherry: the pondicherry university and the institute of bioinformatics in bangalore, have entered into an agreement for providing training to students and encourge research activities in bioinformatics through collaborative efforts. professor j a k tareen, vice-chancellor of the university and akhilesh pandey, director of institute of bioinformatics inked an mou . university sources said the training of students would be held both at the university and at the institute. the agreement also envisaged exchange programmes,  development of curriculum, periodical training programmes, research activities, seminars and workshops. the agreement was aimed at benefitting students to take up research works in bioinformatics.
