NMC directs PG medical colleges to upload faculty attendance, annual report

chennai: the national medical commission (nmc) has directed all medical colleges offering postgraduate courses to submit their annual reports along with faculty attendance records and related data on its official website.ina recent notification, nmc secretary raghav langer said the move aims to enhance transparency and uphold the quality of postgraduate medical education in the country.colleges have been instructed to upload details pertaining to academic, research and clinical activities for the calendar year january 1 to december 31, 2024. the deadline for submission is june 3.institutions are also required to pay the prescribed fees to the nmc and ensure that all required fields in the online form are duly filled, the notification stated.the annual report must include particulars of professors, postgraduate students, their attendance records, and other relevant information as sought by the commission.
