SSLC supplementary exam applications from May 16th
chennai: regular and private students having failed in their sslc examinations may apply for the 10th class supplementary examination from may 16th.the supplementary exams are scheduled from july 2nd to july 8th.these examinations are for both regular and private students who failed to pass or did not appear for the 10th standard common exam in 2024.except for private candidates, all other students should personally visit their respective schools to apply between may 16th and june 1st.eligible private candidates and those who previously failed in the examination should apply through the designated service centers in their districts.students having failed in the science subject are required to register for science practical training from may 16th to may 24th, 2024, at the district education office, with a fee of rs. 125/.it is mandatory for students to obtain an acknowledgment slip for the science practical. this slip must be presented for admission to the science practical examination.private candidates who have received their acknowledgment slip should register online at the service center to sit for the science exam. upon registration, the hall ticket can be downloaded using the application number provided on the acknowledgment slip issued by the service center.for those who miss the specified application dates, can apply through tatkal scheme on june 3rd and 4th with a special admission fee of rs. 500/.no special admission fee is applicable to students studying in government and government-aided schools.the tamil, english, mathematics, science, optional language, and social science exams will be held on july 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 8th respectively.further information is available on the website www.dge.tn.gov.in, said the government examinations department.
