Three IIMs feature in worlds top 100 management schools
chennai: three indian institutes of management (iims) have been ranked among the top 100 management education institutions globally, according to the latest rankings released by london-based quacquarelli symonds (qs).the qs world university rankings, which assess the performance of higher education institutions worldwide, published the management education list for the current year in june. several leading indian institutions secured notable positions in the list.globally, the university of pennsylvania, philadelphia, topped the rankings, followed by harvard business school at second place and mit sloan at third.among indian institutes, iim bangalore improved its position from 53rd last year to 52nd, iim ahmedabad moved up from 59th to 58th, while iim calcutta rose from 65th to 64th. in total, 14 management institutes from india featured in the qs rankings.the rankings reflect indian management schools' growing presence on the global stage, highlighting their performance in academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty quality, and internationalisation.
