TN Class 10 results declared; 93.80% pass, girls outperform boys

chennai: the directorate of government examinations, tamil nadu, on thursday declared the results of the class 10 sslc examinations, recording an overall pass percentage of 93.80 per cent.out of the 8,71,239 students who appeared for the exam, 4,36,120 were boys and 4,35,119 were girls. while 91.74 per cent of boys cleared the exam, girls outperformed them with a pass percentage of 95.88, marking a 4.14 per cent higher success rate.a total of 15,652 students did not pass the examination this year.the results were made available on the official website of the directorate. students who did not clear the exams will be given a chance to appear for the supplementary exams, the department said.
