Delhi: Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) Air Chief Marshal AP Singh has stressed the need for swift capability enhancement to address evolving security threats in the changing geo-strategic landscape.

Addressing officers undergoing the 80th Staff Course at the Defence Services Staff College (DSSC) in Wellington, he underscored the importance of adaptability in assessing threats and formulating responsive strategies.

Highlighting the significance of jointmanship, the Air Chief Marshal called for integrated training and operational synergy among the three Services to bolster combat effectiveness. He provided insights into the Indian Air Force's (IAF) ongoing capability development initiatives and emphasized the necessity of unified operations in modern warfare.

During his visit to the DSSC on March 11-12, he was briefed on the institution's training activities and its focus on fostering jointmanship among the Armed Forces. He lauded the DSSC's role in shaping future military leaders through rigorous academic and professional training.

The visit reaffirmed the IAF's commitment to strengthening inter-service cooperation and enhancing joint operational capabilities to meet future security challenges.
