Chennai: The Public Health Minister announced that doctors who served during the Corona period will receive additional marks.

In an interview yesterday in Chennai, Minister Ma Subramanian revealed that 2,553 medical positions in government hospitals are set to be filled.
A total of 24,000 candidates have appeared for the examination, and the process of evaluating the answer sheets is currently underway.

Doctors who worked during the Corona period will be awarded bonus marks ranging from 2 to 5, based on the duration of their service.

The results of the examination will be published soon, and work orders will be issued to the selected doctors within 10 days.

Further, the Minister is scheduled to meet Union Health Minister Nadda on February 5 to discuss various issues, including the establishment of a new medical college.
